ASTRO’s Playroom Review

Take it for what it is: 5/5 This game is incredibly cool and one of the best PS5 experiences I have played so far. I know a lot of people say it is just a tech demo, or too short etc. screw them. Sorry, just my opinion, but this is a fully fleshed out game that showcases the PS5’s capabilities. First off, this game is a homage to the PlayStation’s entire ecosystem and journey through it’s life. I love all systems, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC, but I will admit, I did grow up playing PlayStation and I understood a lot of the easter eggs and references. Besides this being an advertisement for PlayStation brand and the PS5, the actual game is great. The puzzles are well thought out, flow well and really make use of the Dual Sense controller. The haptics and full effects of the controller and capabilities are showcased here. There was not a level or world I was not enjoying myself. The graphics are top notch also. Truly a great showcase of just the early stages of PS5 development. ...

Scorn Review

Take it for what it is: 4.5/5                 This game I was anticipating for a while. When I first saw the teaser back during one of the Xbox showcases, I thought it was a new Alien game set in the Alien universe. However, upon learning more and seeing more gameplay trailers, I saw it was a new IP based on the H. R. It starts weirdly (like anything in this game is normal) and I was confused on what to do. However, I slowly started to work my way around the environment, playing with the controls on the controller and started to get immersed within this strange world. I will admit, this game is not an open-world RPG/action fest. It is more like Myst (which I will beat one of these days) with some light run and s...

Omno Review

Take it for what it is: 5/5 An incredibly charming and cute little game. It really does feel like you are on a journey exploring a mysterious world. The creatures you interact with, the abilities you slowly acquire in each part of the game, and the companion who stays with you throughout makes this an awesome little gem. The puzzles are good, but are rather simple. There were a few that had me stumped but I am terrible at puzzles and figured it out eventually. I did play with a controller and have played on PC, Xbox, and PS and it plays great on all systems. The soundtrack is also great with awesome sound across the board. Definitely worth checking it out if any of the trailers/gameplay interested you.
