Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Review

Take if for what it is: 4.5/5 I went into this game on Game Pass not expecting much. Really, I was tackling it for the daily achievement quest and to my surprise, I could not stop playing it until I finished the game. Yes, this is just a similar old school Zelda game. It is a cheesy story, and is pretty simple overall, but that is exactly what the creator was going for and they nailed it. The story has a lot of puns of current society and little jokes I was cracking up with. Gameplay was super smooth on Xbox (and even the other systems are good since I picked up on sale and going through now). The art style is unique with the veggies and fruits having their unique looks. The controls are not bad, but the dodge is a little wonky. You will get used to them but they feel a little awkward at first. There is one bug and flaw on Xbox which if you put it in quick resume, you will lose your inventory. I had to replay a little of the game because I went to the Xbox Home Menu and Xbox Stor...

Surviving the Aftermath Review

Take if for what it is: 4.5/5 Overall, if you have played a paradox building type of game (Surviving Mars, Cities Skylines, etc) then you will be somewhat familiar with this one. It is their take on surviving the apocalypse with the mechanics/gameplay of Cities Skylines. It is simple to pick up and has enough depth to keep you busy for learning/mastering it. There are many types of buildings to construct, a large map to explore, and interactive enemies and random events to make decisions on. The game also has random apocalyptic events like meteorites, plague, ice storms and others. I also love the controller layouts of Paradox games. I mostly play with the controller with it being more comfortable and ergonomic, but the keyboard and mouse work great too. Always amazing controls with the controller on Paradox games where after an hour or so it will be effortless. The only thing I would recommend would be better graphics, more variety of animations, building designs, and a f...

Retro Bowl Review (Nintendo Switch)

Take it for what it is: 5/5                 An amazing little gem. I bought this on a whim seeing it was a football game for only 4-5 bucks. Now after a year, I still go back and play this little game.                 It is extremely simple to get into and the tutorial literally takes a couple of minutes to complete. But it does have more depth than you realize when your tweaking your team, your stadium (not the looks or anything, just boosting the numbers), and your defensive and offensive coaches. The management aspect is simple, yet your choices make an impact on your actual team performance and your gameplay changes drastically.                 The gameplay itself is simple. You can rush, scramble, bullet throw, or long pass. You can also kick and to...

Diablo III Nintendo Switch and Game Quick Review

Take it for what it is: 4/5 As always, go somewhere else you want someone to ramble on forever about how awesome things are. ·          Pros o    Gameplay : OK, if you have played every Diablo 3, nothing much new here, same amazing gameplay (after the Auction House of course). The gameplay is as smooth as any of the other consoles and PCs. o    Portable : Now you can play on the toilet. Yes, that is right, the best positive out of this thing, toilet play. That’s right you guys, you know you will do it, you know you will be slaying countless demons on your throne. Just get it for this reason at least. o    Decent Diablo 3 Skin : The switch itself has cool Diablo decals. It is not incredible, but it looks pretty cool. Again, a nice addition, if you don’t already have a Nintendo Switch and are a Diablo fan. o    You get everything : This is the complete Diablo 3 package. You get everything Diabl...
